POEMA 1
SOY más agua que mujer.
Soy más lágrimas que mujer.
Soy más humedad que mujer.
Soy más sudor que mujer.
Tu sudor también me pertenece.
Y el de las mujeres que me forjaron.
También sus lágrimas.
Soy las lágrimas de todos los que esperan en una clínica.
Las lágrimas de todas las que creímos en el amor.
El sudor de las que se entregan
porque no creen en la crueldad
de algunos hombres.
Algunos es un eufemismo.
Soy más sangre que mujer.
Aunque una máquina la drene
y la vaya secando,
como máquinas y fábricas
secan los ríos, pero eso
me mantiene viva.
Soy también esos ríos,
los pozos y lagos,
los mares que la humanidad
transforma para seguir
vendiendo, comprando
ganando, empobreciendo,
enriqueciendo.
Transformar es un eufemismo.
Las demás palabras también.
Soy más saliva que mujer
y aún así solo puedo escribir.
POEM 1
I AM more water than woman.
I am more tears than woman.
I am more humidity than woman.
I am more sweat than woman.
Your sweat belongs to me too.
And that of the women who forged me.
Also, her tears.
I am the tears of all those who wait in a clinic.
The tears of all of us who believed in love.
The sweat of those who give themselves
because they don’t believe in the cruelty
of some men.
Some is a euphemism.
I am more blood than woman.
Even if a machine drains it
and dries it,
like machines and factories
dry up the rivers, but that
keeps me alive.
I am also those rivers,
the wells and lakes,
the seas that humanity
transforms to continue
selling, buying
winning, impoverishing,
enriching
To transform is a euphemism.

I am more saliva than woman
and still, I can only write.

Ha publicado libros de poesía como Madre Piedra y otros poemas (UAA, 2019), La noche es otra sombra, Metamorfosis de la O (Sangre Ediciones, 2020) y SiRenal (Arde Editorial Chihuahua, 2023). En el 2021 obtuvo Mención Honorifica en el 39° Premio Nacional de Literatura Joven «Salvador Gallardo Dávalos», en el área de narrativa con su libro Los árboles no son tan altos de noche.

She has published the poetry books La noche es otra sombra, Metamorfosis de la O (Sangre Ediciones, 2020) and SiRenal (Arde Editorial Chihuahua, 2023). In 2021 she was awarded the Honorable Mention in the 39th “Salvador Gallardo Dávalos” National Young Literature Award, in the area of narrative with her book Los árboles no son tan altos de noche.
